Reception

• Reception Desk and Office Hours: The front desk is open daily from 9am until 5pm. Guests may check in anytime after 4pm and must check out before noon, unless of course other arrangements have been made. If you have an early flight on the day of your departure, please settle your account the night before.
  
  
• Boutique: We have a selection of Le Petit Hotel merchandise (t-shirts, tank tops, boat-necks, caps, robes...), postcards, stamps, sunscreen and other gift items.

Consumable

• Breakfast: Every morning starting at 8am, there is a complimentary, self-serve breakfast buffet set up in the reception area consisting of coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly baked pastries. Please feel free to help yourself.
  
  
• Books and Newspapers: For your enjoyment we have a wide selection of books downstairs by the office - please help yourself. We also have the Daily Herald and the Miami Herald delivered to the hotel daily, excluding Sundays. The newspapers are located in the reception on a first come, first served basis.
  
  
• Mini Bar: Cold drinks are available at the front desk. Soda/Ice Tea/Juice $2.00 - Beer $3.00 - Water $2.50 - Coffee $3.50 - Wine and champagne, see wine list in your room.

Laundry & Beach Towels

• Laundry: We are happy to wash, dry and fold your laundry. The cost for a full load is $20.00. We are also able to send out any dry cleaning you may have - this usually takes two to three days.
  
  
• Beach Towels: We want to create a relaxed atmosphere and therefore do not want you to have to sign our beach towels out. Please be responsible with them - do not take more than you need and please return them to us after your day at the beach or pool. Your cooperation is appreciated.
  
  

In Your Room

• Smoking: As a courtesy to our non-smoking guests, we would appreciate it if you would smoke out on the terrace.
  
  
• Voltage: The French side of the island operates on 220 voltage. Please check your electrical appliances in order to avoid accidents. If you find that you are in need of a transformer, we will be happy to provide you with one.
  
  
• Private Safe: Please keep all of your valuables and money in the safe. Le Petit Hotel is not responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen items. Please note that there is only one key for your safe; if lost, you will be charged $150.00 in order for us to replace it.

Environment

• Water: Water is one of our most precious commodities here on St. Martin. Seawater is converted into fresh water by our desalination plant; a very expensive process. Please be respectful by not wasting water. For example, please do not let the water run while you are shaving or brushing your teeth. We truly appreciate your cooperation.
  
  
• Air Conditioning: Please do not leave your windows or doors open while the air conditioning is on. The unit will freeze, hindering the flow of cold air.
  
  
• Recycle: Please help us in our effort to preserve the planet! Please place all of your plastic and glass in the bin beneath your sink. The housekeepers will remove the items from your room daily.
